Amendment made: No. 140, in page 124, line 14 at end insert— '(7A) Without prejudice to subsection (6) above, the disclaimer of any property in a dwelling house shall not take effect unless a copy of the disclaimer has been served (so far as the trustee is aware of their addresses) on every person in occupation of or claiming a right to occupy the dwelling house and either—

  1. (a) no application under section 155 below is made with respect to that property before the end of the period of fourteen days beginning with the day on which the last notice served under this subsection was served; or
  2. (b)where such an application has been made, the court directs that the disclaimer shall take effect.'.—[Mr. Fletcher.]
