Lords amendment: No. 324, in page 102, line 4, at end insert— 1959 c.37. Section 1(3) of the Street Offences Act 1959.

With this it will be convenient to take Lords amendments Nos. 325, 326 and 357.

Amendments Nos. 324 and 357 preserve the power of arrest for prostitution conferred by section 1(3) of the Street Offences Act 1959. Amendment No. 325 preserves the powers of arrest conferred by section 13 as well as section 12 of the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1984. Amendment No. 326 preserves the powers of arrest conferred by section 5(5) of the Repatriation of Prisoners Act 1984.
