Resolved,

That any Act resulting from the Mineral Workings Bill may—

  1. (a) require the British Steel Corporation to pay to the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food sums equal to expenses incurred by him (whether in the form of grant or otherwise) under arrangements to bring worked ironstone land to a good state of cultivation and fertility, and
  2. (b) provide for the payment of those sums into the Consolidated Fund.—[Mr. Donald Thompson.]
