I beg to move amendment No. 217, in page 92, line 32, after 'riders', insert 'or which complies with the requirements specified in Regulation 4 of the Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles Regulations 1983'. This is a clarifying amendment. The well-known Lothian cycling campaign called Spokes, of which all hon. Members will know, recommended that we should include electrically-assisted pedal cycles under the definition of pedal cycle.
