Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Parliamentary Pensions etc. Bill ("the Act"), it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (a) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of any increase attributable to the Act in the sums payable out of such money under any other Act;
  2. (b) the payment into or out of the Consolidated Fund of any increase attributable to the Act in the sums payable into or out of that Fund under section 30 of the Parliamentary and other Pensions Act 1972 or section 7(1)(b) of the European Assembly (Pay and Pensions) Act 1979; and
  3. (c) the payment out of money provided by Parliament or out of the Consolidated Fund of grants under the Act to persons who have ceased to hold certain Ministerial or other offices.—[Mr.Douglas Hogg.]
