We shall later consider a group of amendments designed to give copyright protection to material, such as computer programmes, which may be included in a cable programme service or a broadcast. The amendments make it clear that where a cable programme service includes signals of this type, it is still to be regarded as a cable programme service, even though it does not consist solely of sounds and visual images.
