Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Pensions Commutation Bill, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) amounts awarded as commutations under the Pensions Commutation Act 1871; and
  2. (b) amounts paid under the Act so resulting in respect of the discharge of any liability to pay an annuity under section 8 of the said Act of 1871. —[Mr. Donald Thompson.]
