§ Mr. D. N. Campbell-Savours (Workington)On a point of order, Mr. Speaker. It is on a completely different subject.
§ Mr. SpeakerProvided that it is, I shall hear the hon. Gentleman.
§ Mr. Campbell-SavoursIt relates to the intervention of the Leader of the House in the middle of a question that I asked during business questions on Thursday last. The words in the Official Report do not accord with my views, because I was prevented from putting the balance of the question. It was not you, Mr. Speaker, in your wisdom, who prevented me from placing my views on the record; it was the Leader of the House. Would you permit me to add to the words in the Official Report in order to ensure that my views as expressed in my question are not misrepresented?
§ Mr. SpeakerI regret that I cannot allow the hon. Gentleman to do that. As I was saying a few moments ago, we are getting a considerable number of points of order raised on unsatisfactory answers, or because hon. Members have not made themselves plain. I think that we had better leave it at that.
