Queen's Recommendation having been signified

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to repeal and re-enact with amendments the provisions of the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1976, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred by the Secretary of State in connection with—

  1. (a) the control of travel into and out of any part of the United Kingdom, including the provision of facilities for examining officers; and
  2. (b) the making of exclusion orders and the removal from any part of the United Kingdom of persons subject to such orders.—[Mr. Donald Thompson.]
