HC Deb 24 November 1983 vol 49 c463
Mr. Hugh Brown (Glasgow, Provan)

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker. This may seem to be a minor point. I seek your help in preventing the long queue of Members who have been distracting the Opposition side of the House for the past 10 or 15 minutes. I have never seen so many hon. Members doing this. I do not understand why an hour is not long enough for them to put their names on the ballot list.

Mr. Speaker

I am obliged to the hon. Member. I, too, was distracted.

Members successful in the ballot were:

  1. BILL PRESENTED
    1. c463
    2. RATING AND VALUATION (AMENDMENT) (SCOTLAND) 60 words
