Miller, Mr. Gordon Brown, Mr. Norman Hogg, Mr. Alexander Pollock, Lord James Douglas-Hamilton, Mr. Donald Stewart, and Mr. Russell Johnston, presented a Bill to make new provision for Scotland with respect to the extinction of obligations to make contributions between wrongdoers; to amend the law relating to the time-limits for bringing actions which consist of or include a claim of damages in respect of personal injuries or a person's death; to make provision relating to the application of rules of law of a country other than Scotland in respect of the extinction of obligations or the limitation of time within which proceedings may be brought to enforce obligations; and for connected purposes; And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time upon Friday 2 December and to be printed.
