§ The Minister of State, Northern Ireland Office (Mr. Adam Butler)I beg to move,
That the draft Milk (Northern Ireland) Order, which was laid before this House on 19th October, in the last Session of Parliament, be approved.The order consolidates the Milk Act (Northern Ireland) 1950 and the Milk (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 1963. It was considered by the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills on 8 December 1982, and the Committee was satisfied that it is a purely consolidating measure. It therefore makes no changes of substance in the existing law, but brings it together in one order. I commend it to the House.

It was also considered by the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills on 8 December 1982 and the Committee was satisfied that it was again a purely consolidation measure. I commend it to the House.
