I beg to move amendment No. 1, in page 5, line 36, leave out 'or interest'.

The Solicitor-General

As the result of the passage of the Matrimonial Homes and Property Act 1981, the words "or interest" were deleted from seven provisions of the Matrimonial Homes Act 1967. In consolidating those provisions in this Bill, those deletions were overlooked. The purpose of the amendment is rectify that.
