Friend's generosity, but does she appreciate that the advent of the British Gas Corporation's operations at Heysham, combined with the new spirit of drive and enterprise displayed by Sealink as a result of other decisions by her Department, will lead to increased traffic for the area? May we have an assurance that the matter is under constant review?
§ Mrs. ChalkerI give my hon. Friend that assurance. The matter is under review. We checked only this morning with the British Gas Corporation, and its exact plans have not yet been finalised. Until they are, it would be premature to make any decision other than that which I have made.
