I beg to move amendment No. 6, in page 43, leave out line 7.

With this we may take Government amendment No. 7.

§ The Solicitor-General for Scotland
This is a drafting amendment, which, with amendment No. 7, will clarify the way in which part VI, and in particular the functions of the Accountant General, will apply to Scotland.

§ Amendment agreed to.

Amendment made: No. 7, in page 43, line 13, leave out subsection (3) and insert— '(3) Part II of this Act and section 26 above extend to Scotland only and Part VI of this Act applies to Scotland only to the extent specified in section 48 above'.—[The Solicitor-General for Scotland.]
