§ Mr. Secretary Edwards, supported by Mr. Secretary Howell, Mr. Nicholas Ridley and Mr. Michael Roberts, presented a Bill to authorise the Secretary of State to acquire certain land and construct and carry out certain works, and to confer on him certain other powers, for or in connection with the construction, maintenance and improvement of a tunnel which he is authorised under the Highways Act 1980 to construct across the Convey Estuary as part of a special road; and for connected purposes: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time tomorrow and to be printed.
