§ The weekly rate of graduated retirement benefit payable for each unit of graduated contributions will be increased by 11 per cent. from 3.86 pence to 4.28 pence.
§ The following sums will be increased by 11 per cent. :—
- (a) additional components in the rates of long-term benefits calculated by reference to any final relevant year earlier than the tax year 1982–83.
- (b) increases of retirement pensions for deferred retirement under Schedule 1 to the Pensions Act.
- (c) increases of graduated retirement benefit for deferred retirement under Schedule 2 to the Social Security (Graduated Retirement Benefit) (No. 2) Regulations 1978.
- (d) increments in guaranteed minimum pensions under section 126A of the Act.
