§ Mr. RossiThese amendments have been introduced as a result of a desire by war pension groups to have some indication in the Act that local authorities should take into account their power to disregard war pensions. Apart from a statutory disregard of £4, the remainder is at the discretion of local authorities and the amendment underlines that fact.
