§ Mr. John Silkin (Deptford)You will recall, Mr. Speaker, that on Thursday my right hon. Friend the Leader of the Opposition. asked the Leader of the House if he could arrange for the Prime Minister to make a statement today on the policy that she had in mind for her visit to the United Nations special session on disarmament. No statement has so far been made, but in view of the extreme relevance of that question, and the fact that the Leader of the House said that he would communicate with the Prime Minister on that question, and as there are now three large-scale wars in three different parts of the world—all of which are highly relevant to what she has to say in New York—have you, Mr. Speaker, had any intimation about what time the right hon. Lady intends to make such a statement?
§ Mr. SpeakerI have had no notice of any statement by the Prime Minister.
