§ Mr. Christopher Murphy (Welwyn and Hatfield)On a totally different point of order, Mr. Speaker. Earlier this afternoon a number of Opposition Members were clearly seen to be reading their supplementary questions, in particular—I regret to mention it in his absence—the hon. Member for Workington (Mr. Campbell-Savours). Will you please clarify your ruling on this important matter?
§ Mr. SpeakerI did not notice the hon. Member reading his question. We are all aware that in this House we do not read our speeches or our questions, although from time to time there is copious use of notes.
