HC Deb 29 October 1981 vol 10 c973 Lords amendments: No. 1, in page 13, line 20, at end insert— "(2A) Subject to the provisions of this Part, if any person—
  1. (a) sets in position any snare which is of such a nature and so placed as to be calculated to cause bodily injury to any wild animal coming into contact therewith; and
  2. (b) while the snare remains in position fails, without reasonable excuse, to inspect it, or cause it to be inspected, at least once every day,
he shall be guilty of an offence."
