The Solicitor-General (Sir Ian Percival): I beg to move amendment No. 1, in page 4, line 30, leave out 'county'.

The First Deputy Chairman: With this we may take Government amendment No. 2.

The Solicitor-General: Both amendments are of a technical nature. Their purpose is further to ensure that the Bill properly expresses the existing law. I believe that they do so and I therefore commend them to the Committee.
