I beg to move amendment No. 2, in page 30, line 34, at end add

"or the Industrial and Provident Societies Act (Northern Ireland) 1969.'

With this it will be convenient to take Government amendment No. 3.

Mr. Eyre

This amendment will include in the classes of bodies whose names are to form the statutory index to be kept by the Registrar of Companies societies registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act (Northern Ireland) 1969.

Amendment No. 3 seeks to prohibit the Secretary of State from removing from the index the names of 1948 Act companies and overseas companies.
