Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make further provision with respect to the financial limits applying to the British Airports Authority and the British Airways Board, it is expedient to authorise any increase in the sums payable out of or into the National Loans Fund or the Consolidated Fund or out of moneys provided by Parliament which is attributable to—

  1. (a) increasing the limit in section 5(4) of the Airports Authority Act 1975 From £125 million to £200 million and providing for its further increase to £300 million;
  2. (b) increasing the limit in section 9(1) of the British Airways Board Act 1977 from £1,000 million to £1,200 million and providing for its further increase to £1,600 million.—[Mr. Thompson.]
