§ Mr. Secretary Howell, supported by Mr. Secretary Younger, Mr. Secretary Edwards, Mr. Leon Brittan and Mr. Secretary Tebbit, presented a Bill to increase certain limits relating to the indebtedness of the British Railways Board and the National Bus Company, to the amount of compensation payable in respect of certain public service obligations of the Board, and to the amount of certain financial assistance given to the Port of London Authority and the Mersey Docks and Harbour Company; and to enable the Treasury to guarantee the discharge of the Board's liabilities to the European Company for the Financing of Railroad Rolling Stock: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time tomorrow and to be printed.
