Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to consolidate with amendments the Supreme Court of Judicature (Consolidation) Act 1925 and other enactments relating to the Supreme Court in England and Wales and the administration of justice therein, and to amend Part VIII of the Mental Health Act 1959 and the law relating to county courts, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (a) the payment out of the Consolidated Fund or out of money provided by Parliament of such salaries, remuneration and allowances as the Lord Chancellor may with the concurrence of the Minister for the Civil Service determine, being salaries, remuneration and allowances so payable under or in consequence of provisions of the said Act of the present Session;
  2. (b) any increase attributable to the provisions of the said Act of the present Session in the sums payable under any other Act out of that Fund or out of money so provided;
  3. (c) the payment of any sums into the Consolidated Fund. —[The Solicitor-General.]
