Queen's recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That the salaries payable to Members of this House in respect of service on and after 13th June 1981 shall be at the following yearly rates—

  1. (1) £13,950 for Members not falling within paragraph (2); and
  2. (2) £8,130 for Officers of this House and Members receiving a salary under the Ministerial and other Salaries Act 1975 or a pension under section 26 of the Parliamentary and other Pensions Act 1972 —[Mr. Pym]
