asked the Secetary of State for Transport what plan he has to discuss future British Railways electrification with the chairman of British Railways.

Mr. Fowler

I shall certainly wish to discuss this with the chairman, and no doubt it will form part of one of our regular discussions.

Is my right hon. Friend aware that my constituents in Watford will be most grateful to him for that statement?

Mr. Fowler

I think that the whole House will be grateful to my hon. Friend for his supplementary question.
