Queen's Recommendation having been signified

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to establish a Sea Fish Industry Authority with the duty of promoting the efficiency of the sea fish industry in the United Kingdom, to provide financial assistance for that industry, to amend the law relating to the regulation of sea fishing and to make new provision in relation to fish farming, it is expedient to authorise— (1) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any sums required by any Minister or Ministers —

  1. (a) for making payments to or in respect of members of that Authority and former members of the bodies replaced by it;
  2. (b) for making loans to the Authority;
  3. (c) for making payments pursuant to schemes of financial assistance for that industry or for fish farming;
  4. (d) for carrying out research and development and providing advice and instruction in matters relating to fish farming;
  5. (e) for administrative expenses;
