§ Mr. Allen Adams accordingly presented a Bill to prohibit the placement of siblings under the age of twelve in the care of a local authority or voluntary care agency in Scotland in more than one residential establishment or more than one set of foster parents, except in the case of illness; and to make such separation permissible after the age of twelve only with the consent of the children concerned: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time upon Friday 15 May and to be printed.
