I beg to move amendment No. 1, in page 39, line 12, leave out 'clerk' and insert 'proper officer'.

The Solicitor-General

These are all minor and technical drafting amendments, which will correct either drafting or typographical errors. Having regard to the size of the Bill, right hon. and hon. Members may feel that it speaks volumes for the skill of the draftsmen that there are so few amendments.
