Lords amendment: No. 208, in page 181, line 34, at end insert or, after the commencement of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980, within the meaning of section 32 of that Act".

I beg to move, That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said amendment.

This is a technical amendment which has become necessary owing to the recent passing of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980 and the penalties involved thereto.
