I beg to move amendment No. 320, in page 87, line 5, after '108', insert '(1)(b) or (c)'.

With this we shall take Government amendment No. 321.

Mr. Eyre

The amendment extends the time allowed for public companies to make the changeover from their old to their new name from one year to three years for the purposes of section 108(1)(a) of the 1948 Act. The provision is concerned with the display of a company's name outside its place of business.
