HC Deb 25 June 1980 vol 987 c478
The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Leader of the House of Commons (Mr. Norman St. John-Stevas)

Mr. Speaker, I should like to make a short business statement. After discussions through the usual channels, arrangements have now been made for consideration of the Lords amendments to the Transport Bill to be adjourned tonight and resumed at the end tomorrow. As a result, consideration of the orders previously announced for debate at the end on Thursday will be postponed.
