HC Deb 14 July 1980 vol 988 c1053
Mr. Skinner

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker. In view of the Government's failure to have a spokesman here today to make a report on the children that were fainting, sick and vomiting at Kirkby in Ashfield yesterday, and in view of the widespread public concern about the matter, especially as it appears to concern the spraying of crops, and as there has not been a private notice question—

Mr. Speaker

Will the hon. Gentleman indicate what point of order he wants me to rule on, relating it to our Standing Orders?

Mr. Skinner

As a private notice question was asked for, but not agreed—

Mr. Speaker

Order. Surely the hon. Gentleman has been here long enough now to know that no reference is made to a private notice question. I have heard no point of order on which I can rule.
