§ Mr. FoxI beg to move amendment No. 131, in page 43, line 4, after `require ' insert
'for the purposes of sections 42 to 51 above'.The purpose of the amendment is to limit the scope of the clause. It would mean that each local authority would be required to submit such information as is relevant under sections 42 to 51 of the Act. It was never intended that the Minister of Transport or the Secretary of State should have the broad power that the unamended clause would confer.
