§ Mr. Richard Page accordingly presented a Bill to allow companies greater flexibility in the terms on which they may raise share capital; to amend the law with regard to the powers of companies to issue, redeem and deal generally with their share capital; to set out the special duties and responsibilities of directors, officers and certain other persons in relation thereto; and for connected purposes: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time upon Friday 24 October and to be printed.
