Queen's Recommendation having been signified

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to provide for the reduction of the public dividend capital of the British Airways Board, the subsequent dissolution of the Board and the vesting of all its property, rights, liabilities and obligations in a company nominated by the Secretary of State, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (1) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—
    1. (a) any sums so payable under or in consequence of any provision of that Act; and
    2. (b) any increase attributable to that Act in the sums payable under any other Act out of moneys so provided; and
  2. (2) the payment into the Consolidated Fund of any dividends or other sums required by that Act to be so paid.—[Mr. Tebbit.]
