Mr. Austin Mitchell accordingly presented a Bill to provide for the better safety of children in cars by prohibiting the carriage of children under thirteen years of age in the front seat of motor cars, providing for the fitting of rear seat safety belts adjustable for children on all new cars, and facilitating the use of rear seat child safety seats for children under three: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time upon Friday 23 March and to be printed.
