Mr Nick Budgen, supported by Ivan Lawrence, Mr. Tony Marlow, Mr. Robert Rhodes James, Mr. Barry Porter, Mr. David Knox, and Mr. David Waddington, presented a Bill to abolish the obligation of coroners under the law of England and Wales to view the bodies on which they hold inquests; to make fresh provision for inquests to be held in districts other than that in which the body lies; to confer new powers for the exhumation of bodies and for connected purposes: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time upon Friday 13 July 1979 and to be printed.
