Queen's Recommendation having been signified

Motion made, and Question proposed, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to confer further powers upon the Greater London Council and other authorities, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of any sums required for the remuneration of members of the staff commission to be established by the Secretary of State in pursuance of that Act or to defray any expenses of that commission—[Lord James Douglas-Hamilton.]

Objection being taken to further Proceeding, the debate stood adjourned.
