No. 17, in page 4, line 10, leave out from 'being' to end of line 11 and insert—

  1. (a) in the case of a period not within section 1(1A)(b), the same as that of a Member's pensionable salary for that period;
  2. (b) in the case of a period within section 1(1A)(b), a rate equal to one-third of that of a Member's pensionable salary for that period.'.
