§ Mr. HigginsOn a point of order, Mr. Speaker. It has been widely reported in the press that the Chief Secretary to the Treasury will be making a statement to-ay on cash limits. As we are about to go into recess, may I ask whether you have received a request from the right hon. Gentleman to make a statement?
§ Mr. SpeakerI read the same report; but there is a big difference between reading a report and receiving a request, and I have had no request from the Chief Secretary.
