Queen's Recommendation having been signified

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present session to enable certain societies in Great Britain to be registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965 as credit unions, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of any increase attributable to the said Act of the present session in the administrative expenses of the chief registrar of friendly societies and any assistant registrar of friendly societies; and
  2. (2) the payment into the Consolidated Fund of any fees received by any such registrar by virtue of that Act—[Mrs. Ann Taylor.]
