Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to provide for payments out of public funds towards trade unions' expenditure in respect of ballots and for the issue by the Secretary of State of Codes of Practice for the improvement of industrial relations, to make provision in respect of exclusion or expulsion from trade unions and otherwise to amend the law relating to workers, employers, trade unions and employers' associations, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of such sums as may be required for making payments under any scheme under the said Act of the present Session providing for payments towards expenditure incurred by trade unions in respect of ballots.—[Mr Prior.]
