Queen's Recommendation having been signified

Resolved,

That for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make amendments of the law relating to pilotage it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—

  1. (1) any sums required by the Secretary of State for the purpose of—
    1. (a) making to the Pilotage Commission established by that Act loans up to an amount outstanding at any time of £500,000;
    2. (b) paying remuneration or allowances to a member of a body established in pursuance of provisions of that Act relating to breaches of codes of conduct and contraventions of industrial agreements;
  2. (2) payments in respect of expenses incurred by a person in complying with requirements imposed by a Department of Trade inspector or by a person having the powtrs of such an inspector;
  3. (3) any administrative expenses incurred by a Member of the Crown or a government department under that Act;
  4. (4) any increase attributable to that Act in the sums which, under any other Act, are payable out of money so provided,

and to authorise the payment of any sum into the Consolidated Fund.—[Mr. Snape.]
