Friend to take into full consideration the proposals he has received and is to receive from the Interim Action Committee? Will he also consider the possibility that he might take some useful action in relation to the British film industry without waiting for legislation?
§ Mr. MeacherWe shall certainly be undertaking the consultations on the basis of the Interim Action Committee's report. My hon. Friend can rest assured that 11 there are a number of issues, in particular the publication of more information about the Eady returns, which I am considering and which, I think, will give interim aid to the film industry.
