On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker. May I protest at the vetoing of this Bill by the Government when they support the principle of the Bill. We shall continue our struggle for justice.

Further to that point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker. The hon. Gentleman is well aware that many Back Benchers on both sides of the House object to the alliance between the two Front Benches on this issue.
