Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to extend until 31st December 1981 the period during which television and local sound broadcasting services are to be provided by the Independent Broadcasting Authority, it is expedient to authorise the payment—

  1. (a) out of money provided by Parliament of any increase in the sums payable under any other Act out of such money; and
  2. (b) out of the Consolidated Fund of any increase in the sums payable under any other Act out of that Fund, where the increase is attributable to provisions of that Act extending the said period until that date.—[Mrs. Ann Taylor.]
