Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purpose of any Act of the present Session to amend the law of England and Wales with respect to criminal conspiracy, otherwise to amend the criminal law, including the law with respect to the administration of criminal justice, and to amend section 9(4) of the Administration of Justice Act 1973, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (a) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of any increase attributable to the said Act of the present Session in the sums payable out of such money under any other Act;
  2. (b) the payment out of the Consolidated Fund of any increase in the sums payable out of that Fund under section 9 of the Administration of Justice Act 1973 which results from the amendment of subsection (4) of that section by the said Act of the present Session.—[Mr. John.]
